Overseas work colleague wasn't impressed when Tane and waihine were added to the toilet doors...decided a letter needed to be written in protest and so approached another colleague to co-sign the letter.

Approached one of the few coworkers who is Maori...

Seeing the Recycling Bin checking people checking the bins again after a long absence.

3 (Including mine) OK, 6 Removed from the kerb and not picked up and tagged as to why, out of the 8 nearest properties to me :-)

It's NOT ROCKET SCIENCE to recycle properly.

Waking up this morning, knowing I don't have to participate in "Super Vax Saturday" as I am fully vaccinated and have done my part without any enticements, like free cars, cash, food etc.

That someone has changed the thread titles of this and the other small things threads to have Smile or Annoy as the first word so it's obvious in the notifications and tab title.  :-)

All hail BDFL, for his thread naming powers are mighty and his ban hammer hurts like hell if it catches you.

SPCA adopted dog for our son.  Every kid needs a dog IMHO.

A labrador cross, 6 month old and a very good girl.  Slight aversion to utes I've noticed which is probably part of her path to the SPCA

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Will do.

She's clearly had quite a bit of training already; mostly walks at the heal, understands "no", knows her name, sits before eating from her food bowl, all the good stuff.  She also seems to be toilet trained as we've had no indoor accidents yet.  The relationship with a pet is two-way of course and I'm finding her easy to read.  On occasion she will look to me for an OK when our son is giving her commands which is hilarious.
