"Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern today is the start of a nationwide booster drive"

Should I be worried?

This is from an editorial by Stuff's head of news

"We’re not; we do and will keep covering news in a non-ideological and non-partisan way."

LOL.

I wouldn't believe it either if my brother was a conspiracy theory.

Stuff headline: "Your old laptop can now turn into a Chromebook".

Two articles down: "Google's new software could bring your old computer back to life".

Two articles about the same thing. Do they think people won't notice because there's an article about Facebook separating them?

It could well be split testing to see which best resonates with the audience, and used to inform future clickbait headlines.

Truth is more likely to be an editor getting lazy and simply importing stories from Associated Press 'news' reals based on some advert optimisation formula

"Whole fried potato found in packet of UK Kettle Chips"

Neither news, Herald, nor particularly interesting.

Geektastic: "Whole fried potato found in packet of UK Kettle Chips"

Score! That alone was probably more than the 150g you get in a bag of Kettle Chips.

1024kb: 'Master' forestry worker with impeccable record was killed by the last tree he cut

At least they didn't say it was ironic.

Also was it the last tree in the forest, and he was retiring that day?

Or was it "I always find my keys in the last place I looked" (because you stop looking after you find your keys) situation?

It is not clear.

I think it's broadly accepted that when you're killed by a tree, you stop cutting down trees. So to me it's obviously the second option.

Axe heads are ironic, handles are woodic.

There is/was a headline subtitle today saying the average Auckland house price has decreased to $12.6m. Visible on the main stuff page.
