My daughter lost her IPhone on a walk and we were unable to locate it. Data was tuned off so find my phone did not show anything. My older daughter decided to have one more look were we thought it could be and I used the Play Sound option while she was there and she found it in some long grass. We had just claimed insurance on her dropped laptop so pleased not to have to try and claim for a phone as well.

More than smile, this made me snigger out loud:

especially the compatibility list.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Am I still allowed to use the one that came with my iMac or is that no longer compatible due to forced obsolescence?

I'm a died-in-the-wool Apple fan, but even I know that's just a cleaning cloth with a logo on it. They used to give those away for iPads once upon a time.

What made me smile this weekend was seeing Man United get thrashed.

All the companies who are giving away free stuff to motivate vaccinations, just picked up 3 lots of chicken from KFC free of charge, which made my kids smile, which makes me smile.

If Apple made musical instruments people would be queueing up at 5am for a chance to buy these as long as they were Apple-branded.

Had a friend who was a big fan of Arsenal Nil. Used to get a bit miffed when I asked him about them, can't imagine why.

Lost my wireless Earbuds about 3 weeks ago. I suspected they dropped out of my jacket pocket when I was shuffling across seats when deplaning from a flight from Wellington back to Auckland. Lodged a lost item report with Air NZ but they said nothing handed in. I had my name and phone number on the charging case.

Got a call yesterday from Air NZ saying my earbuds have been handed in. Found on a plane yesterday. Yay

There are still honest people in this world.

As a grumpy middle aged man I consider it my duty to frequently tut-tut and shake my head at the behaviour of youth these days.

In this case however, it made me smile that these kids are smarter than their school principal and one of the mums at least.
