Next year, Bird of the Year will be a moth or a dragonfly.

Rikkitic:

It always makes me smile when I find a cool solution for an annoying problem.

The problem is toothpaste tubes. Some can just be folded up as you use them, so you can keep squeezing the toothpaste out. But others, for some reason, don't stay folded. The toothpaste spreads out through the tube and as it empties, squeezing it becomes a two-handed job since you have to work the toothpaste forward. I ran into this issue when I switched to Sensodyne.

The cool solution is a binder spring clip. This can be clipped over the end of the tube as it is rolled up, keeping it in place. The toothpaste can then easily be squeezed with one hand.

I just use the edge of the vanity. Similar to this video

Did the bat itself actually identify as a bird................and what's its preferred pronoun?

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Or you can buy any number of things to assist - as a kid we had "keys" that helped you to roll the toothpaste tube like on an old fashioned Tuna can lid.

Now there's things like this:Cutesy tube squeezers

Rode my first e-scooter ride today after three companies have started up in Palmy. We’ve got Lime/Uber, Flamingo and Beam. We’ve already had someone ride one through the building at work which is hilarious to see.

I took a Beam while a workmate jumped on a Lime just to compare the speed. His battery was showing about 90%, mine was full but the beam went slightly faster than the Lime and I was able to pass him. An almost 12 minute ride cost me $6.40.

What you mean is that you decided to race outside.

Nah we didn’t really race as such, we took turns leading.

Yup - that's why I ended up buying my own, as I used it for the commute before we weren't allowed to commute.

I know it's a low blow to make fun of someone's accent, but it still amused me to hear the chief executive of Microsoft talking about the "metaworse".

That they found Cleo Smith alive after 17 days from being abducted. I don't have words for how amazing that is.

I can only hope she wasn't seriously harmed.
