Guilty!

(just one part of the on street lawn, as I had run out of space in the wheelie bin)

You're welcome to pick them up. From the 8 acres or so I mow.

Breaking news banners that aren't actually breaking news. This is a question about a long standing scenario.

Here is one I doubt many will agree with these days, but it does really bug me and it is getting worse.

I am sick of on-line news sites, especially newspapers, that publish videos in place of articles. Not videos that supplement articles, I have no problem with that, but videos that are the articles. I grew up in an era when people read newspapers. I like reading newspapers, though it is getting harder. On-line newspapers are a convenient way of being able to browse many papers from around the world. But when I click on an article link, I expect to see an article I can read, not a video. If I want to watch a video I will go to YouTube. When I choose a paper, it is because I want to absorb information by reading, not watch bloody TV.

They are news sites not newspaper sites. The main Newspapers still do print editions if you want that buy the printed editions. Video is very much a part of modern news sites and enhances the content.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

I hate it when they have the person just reading the text that is below the video, so by the time the ad has played you have read all the text so no point watching the video since its just video of a person talking.

I hate how you end up with pictures of tweets on news sites, and then text underneath that basically say the same thing again.

I dislike how adults (mainly in the USA) seem to be confused about the female anatomy and use the word "vagina" to call the external visible bit that should really be "vulva". Completely different things. It doesn't help their sex ed seems... lacking.

No, they are actually newspaper sites, like the Washington Post and the New York Times.

I dislike the word vulva so I wouldn't use that word anyway :)

Also, their lack of understanding doesn't seem to be stopping them from breeding :)

You are talking about the USA here. Their sex ed probably consists of Ozzie and Harriet (look it up) in separate beds discussing how the stork brought little Ricky. I seriously doubt many Americans even know what a vulva is, let alone the distinction from a vagina.

I think facility in breeding comes from lack of understanding.

That's easy - one's a Swedish car, the other is a little blue pill...
