Not much on Sky News yet but she’s with her parents now. Unbearable to think about but such an event on one of my own could easily turn me into a perpetrator of a violent crime.

That's amazing. Nice to have some positive news.

I'm obviously tired and cynical about the world I live in as fully expected her to be dead within days of her disappearance.

Excellent news. (Damn dust in my eyes.)

networkn:

I can only hope she wasn't seriously harmed.

SMH reports 'alive and well' , hopefully that's not just a lazy figure of speech.

Edit:  just watching the police Deputy Commissioner, they are his words.

Eva888: Not much on Sky News yet ...

Most of WA is still asleep.

Eva888: One can only hope she has little memory of her ordeal when she grows up.

She's still in the age range where childhood amnesia can deal with it, but then she's going to get it rehearsed at her for the rest of her life, so even if she doesn't retain any original memories she'll build new ones :-(.

Yup, she will always be known as 'that girl that was abducted and rescued after 17 days.

I don't know what that means...

Not intending to "Mansplain", but what that means is the Raspberry Pi "Zero 2 W" (https://www.raspberrypi.com/products/raspberry-pi-zero-2-w/) now comes as a 4-core CPU running 64bit code.

It's a more-or-less complete computer on a small circuit board 65mm x 30mm.

My son recently started work in the mines in WA.  Surely that justifies the expense of buying this set to Mrs. Floyd because I need to understand the type of equipment that he is working with?

Opening a fart video on YouTube on my phone and putting it on pause, volume down.
Casually hiding said phone in the smoko room couch and walking away.

Winding up the volume and hitting play from my watch
