Don't worry mate , you're not alone, I missed it too. I expect you were a bit like me, too engrossed in trying to find your soulmate and the masterchef recap 😝 .
Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
An RNZ article ostensibly about a new portrait of the Queen has a photo captioned "The Queen's new portrait". They've cropped about 60% of it out.

Gotta love Auckland journos who get back an OIA the contains a "secret story" about something happening in the South Island..
Here's todays example
"Costco Wholesale's second $100m NZ store: Secret Government briefing paper reveals details"
"Now, a secret Government briefing paper has disclosed the potential location of the second store and what affect Costco's expansion could have on our grocery market"
Or the could have done a google search and found this article from 6 months ago
" Selwyn District Council planning manager Ben Rhodes has confirmed the details. "A resource consent has been granted for Costco, as a large format membership warehouse outlet, in Iport," he said. "

"Now, a secret Government briefing paper has disclosed the potential location of the second store and what affect Costco's expansion could have on our grocery market"
I am more interested to understand how a journalist wouldn't know the difference between affect and effect.

"Clover Park Gang" gang pad? Some amazing feat? Nope. Clover Park is just a suburb in South Auckland, so it makes sense the bullet originated there.
From the five-minute quiz in today's DomPost.

I believe American English considers those interchangeable.
I think you missed the emoji for joke.
