Ah - thanks, I wouldn’t have thought of that.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
A nearly 10 year old device still getting updates & routing at the above speed like it's nothing.

"Remove from fridge" as an instruction???
Is it normal to sit IN the fridge with the food working out how to cook it?

Yep. I think they mean “Don’t leave it in the fridge when you light the fire to cook it”.
I’m surprised they didn’t say “Don’t eat the plastic wrapper”.

trying to figure something out on my router and using Microsoft translate on a russian website
"This behavior of the interface, as well as the very presence of the configuration wizard, can be perceived ambiguously: to some it will seem like the focus of the device on housewives who are not able to configure the device themselves. Others, on the contrary, will take the presence of the configuration wizard positively, since it greatly simplifies the configuration. If we leave aside the snobbisity of seasoned system administrators, the presence of the wizard can be considered a positive phenomenon:"

When you run out of coffee beans on a Friday just as your subscription rolls over for the month. Coffee is shipped from different part of the country on the Friday and you think their is no hope of it arriving until Monday. The total absolute unadulterated joy that videos of our daughter's new kittens caused, that the mother's owner sent through because we can't get them until early January. My daughter was set some tough goals to meet in order to be allowed them, to show she was responsible enough to have kittens, and she has worked so so hard to meet them. At bedtime last night we all sat down and played the videos on the big screen. I honestly thought he was going to explode with happiness.. Anyone who says you can't buy happiness never bought a kid a kitten (or puppy) :)
The way we were treated by everyone at North Shore Hospital over the weekend - from security, to ED to surgical staff and ward staff.
Every single person we interacted with was awesome, in quite a trying and tiring moment in our lives.
It was just a broken bone for them, but they never treated us like just another number and they were especially awesome with my 16yo son, who had the injury.
I never got treated like I was in the way, they were super accommodating and helpful, made sure we understood everything that was going on and how everything would play out.
Very impressed - they were quite obviously understaffed, too. But that didn't affect us other than long waits.

I'm not sure if this makes me smile or annoys me. Currently the UAE has a Sunday-Thursday working week, as does the rest of the Middle East. It's just been announced that we are moving to a Monday-Friday working week.
The upside is I don't need to work as many weekends as previously but the downside is I lose my cruisy Sundays when the rest of the world, including my boss, leaves me alone.
Generally it's a win

How do they reconcile that with the requirement for Friday prayer?
Edited after a quick Google: They break early on Friday for Jum'ah, so it's really a 4 1/2-day week not a 5-day week. Wonder how that'll work out, i.e. how much work will actually get done on a Friday morning?

It's 4 1/2 day for the public sector, in reality it'll be 5 days for the private sector.
Ordered an iPad cover via Apple Store app on Sunday at 4 pm - coming from Sydney. It arrived at our door on the North Shore at 3 pm yesterday - less than 48 hours overall.

I've always been impressed with Apple's shipping.
