The ads on TVNZ+ live channels. They are constant and endless.

They do seem to be a lot worse. I watched TVNZ 1 via antenna when out router pooped. It seemed like 2 minutes of programme and 8 minutes of advertisements.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Getting emails from Jetstar saying sorry your flights have changed. Read everything, double check and oh the flight in 4 months time is going to arrive 5min early. Is it really worth sending emails that sounds way worse than what it is.

Quoted $2,800 for root canal and that’s without a crown. $450 to extract. No guarantees.

I was quoted $1800 for a root canal and $1800 for a crown.
Just paid $1100 for an extraction under General Anaesthetic.

I don't miss my tooth so far - it's been almost 48 hours and I'm now opiate free, too!

Dentistry is mad expensive.

My weeks of excruciating pain stopped the day before my appointment. Morning it was fine. I rang and postponed for another couple weeks to see if it’s truly settled. Still good today and able to eat fine so why take out a root if it’s not causing issues.

Amazing how good you feel after an extraction if it’s been festering for ages. Good that you’ve done it as the constant inflammation can cause heart issues.

When asked to steer me from Christchurch Airport to Rolleston, Android auto took me through a maze of country roads, 135 degree turns and 80km/h or less speeds. I expected to go on the expressway.

I finally realized that it was navigating in "the most fuel efficient way" by avoiding the 100km/h+ roads.

I didn't ask it to do that and didn't know it was an option. It seems to have slipped into the software and been enabled without my knowledge.

Was parked at The Warehouse today.

When I came out some ignorant person in a wide Range Rover had parked within a handspan of my drivers side so she could open HER drivers door to get out.

This was a parent/Child park.

So we waited until she came out, no apologies (she could see what the problem was) , her "Child" was probably 8-10 years old, not what I would consider a "Child" for these car parks (2-6 is my guess).

The entitlement of people with oversized vehicles....GRRRRRRRR

The only pleasure I got was knowing that the gas guzzler was probably costing her a fortune to run.

Dish wash powder containers with a giant wide mouth on them so you can’t easily avoid dumping far too much powder into the machine.
And they know exactly what they’re doing.

We gave up on powder and switched to tablets. I know it is probably more expensive and no prewash, but it is clean and easy to load a tablet compared to the powder problem you have.

This is similar to cereal packaging in the early 2000's, many were resealable and they would stay fresh for quite some time. Now, you're lucky to even open the packet without it disintegrating and the unsealed contents typically go stale before you can eat them, and you end up throwing the remainder in the bin.

After years of buying the tablets only because there was a recommendation sticker on the dishwasher, I switched to this powder. It is often on special at $8.99/2Kg

https://www.paknsave.co.nz/shop/product/5025427_ea_000pns

I find it easy to deliver the correct quantity but I have been practicing for a while. Surprisingly I find the process easier and cleaner than tablets. I always wanted to wash my hands after handling the tablet. Later I started using the eco cycle at 50°C and it continues to work well.
