Getting emails from Jetstar saying sorry your flights have changed. Read everything, double check and oh the flight in 4 months time is going to arrive 5min early. Is it really worth sending emails that sounds way worse than what it is.

Well, 5 minutes can also mean the difference between life and death in 4 months. 😁

Tried buying tickets to the AFC semifinal game this coming Saturday using the member's presale.

Ordered 3 tickets, got to payment, used Apple Pay and all looked good, then there's a note saying there was a technical error, so try again.

Tried again, went through the whole process and same result.
Checked TM app - no tickets.

Checked bank account - two transactions!!
So I wanted 3 tix, paid for 6 tix and received none!!

I have lodged a query with TM, but have little faith in them from past experience.

Could be worse. USA provider Spirit Airline went bust, all flights were cancelled without prior notice, stranding thousands of passengers.

Passengers showed up for their flights to find no Spirit Airline employees anywhere. Airport desks were empty,

No emails to customers. No direct communication beyond public statements and social media posts

Only heads-up was several posts from Spirit Airline saying they were struggling with high jet fuel prices.

Spirit Airlines canceled all flights and is going out of business: CNN

Spirit Airlines, the pioneering US discount airline that shook up the budget travel business, is shutting down its operations.

The company is in its second bankruptcy and was in serious financial trouble well before the Iran war sent jet fuel prices surging. America's eighth-largest carrier tried to reach a deal with the Trump administration on an 11th-hour rescue package

That so many of the worlds most incredible artists, and creators, turn out to have behaved badly, or are inherently awful human beings.

Sometimes it can be a challenge to separate the art from the artist.

I also think fame and popularity can be a real challenge for some people, and that better support should be put around them to help them keep it all in perspective.  It seems all to common that drugs and alcohol are relied on to help people through it, which certainly doesn't help

with the bad behaviour and judgement!

A lot of the world's most creative minds are not wired the same as the average person. Probably why they are so good at what they do.

I would agree that is most definitely true. I have always thought the best music was brought about by tragedy and suffering.

Is the proportion of bad people really higher in that lot of people tho, or just that there are more of them that you know about vs accountants and similar non-publicised jobs?

Well, it's probably not the same because if my accountant produces a great set of accounts for me, it won't have global impact, and then if they are a perv as well, it's not such a significant fall. At least in my head.

I can absolutely appreciate how performing on stage would have a bigger buzz that any drug could provide yet drugs would be one way to get that feeling back and recover from the resulting downer after experiencing such a high.

Hopefully some education can be provided for this.  With the effects of screen time being more well known we should be able to apply the same

I often feel that famous peoples 'handlers' are told to encourage substance abuse and self destructive behaviour as it sells records or whatever content they are creating.

No problem. Now, with the help of AI, everyone can create their own art without committing artrocities. 😁

I just tried to register my Subway card, which is apparently required to use the points on it. First it didn't like my name, then it demanded a cellphone number even though I don't use one, and then it (instantly) claimed that my perfectly valid email address "didn't work". And that's only step 2 of 4!

Sorry, but your art doesn't reach the level that justifies that joke which is bordering on a crime against humanity. :)
