Behodar:Try calling them - you might find them to be helpful.
I just tried to register my Subway card, which is apparently required to use the points on it. First it didn't like my name, then it demanded a cellphone number even though I don't use one, and then it (instantly) claimed that my perfectly valid email address "didn't work". And that's only step 2 of 4!
I get places telling me that my name is not valid all the time. I also am over the need for giving places mobile numbers when I have no desire to ever be called or texted by them.

No problem. Now, with the help of AI, everyone can create their own art without committing artrocities. 😁
Sorry, but your art doesn't reach the level that justifies that joke which is bordering on a crime against humanity. :)
Where there are people, there are crimes against humanity. So jokes are comparatively harmless. The golden calf is more relevant today than ever. 🙂
I got a new bilge pump to keep the pool empty. I got a more powerful one which had a larger output hose barb. No worries, I will get something to go on it. Says it was 1-1/8" so put that into google to convert "1-1/8 Inch in mm" and got 22.225mm so got some 22mm hose.
Yeah. Seems that google took that literally and did a subtraction so it was 7/8 of an inch, not 1 and 1/8th. Now I have to find some 28.575mm hose.

There's bound to be an adapter for that. Just ask Google! And remember the factor 2.54 (two less than 256 = 2^8). 😁😉😎

I would have thought a quick sanity check would have told you that 1-1/8th inch is larger than 1inch, therefore the answer of 22mm being less than 25.4 didn't add up?
I would never have dared to ask that! 😉

I dont often deal with caveman measurements, so no, that did not add up that it was less than 25.4, and I was at work when ordering it so didn't have it with me to look at and think what the size was. What should have raised alarms is that it was only a few mm bigger than the old one at 19mm when it did look a lot bigger. Cant find tube in that size so just ordering the smaller cheap bilge pump that uses 19mm which is normal irrigation pipe size.

Wouldn't expect anything less from a monopolistic megacorp.
"I regret to say that we of the F.B.I. are powerless to act in cases of oral-genital intimacy, unless it has in some way obstructed interstate commerce." — J. Edgar Hoover
"Create a society that values material things above all else. Strip it of industry. Raise taxes for the poor and reduce them for the rich and for corporations. Prop up failed financial institutions with public money. Ask for more tax, while vastly reducing public services. Put adverts everywhere, regardless of people's ability to afford the things they advertise. Allow the cost of food and housing to eclipse people's ability to pay for them. Light blue touch paper." — Andrew Maxwell

Apparently, I should have:
Oh and they kindly told me that I'd missed the presale window as it ended at 4pm - my first two attempts were at 9.05 and 9.07 am
All of this, despite there being no issue until after I paid and got an error that clearly stated "try again".
Thankfully I emailed Auckland FC and they called me immediately to see how we can sort this out and get some presale-priced tickets in the section I want to be in.

DVS calling every 4-6 months, not taking the hint 2 years later i'm never going to answer their call or install their product. Yes I could block the number or tell them to stop but at this stage its just an experiment to see just how persistent they will be.
