Very common to see police officers on the beat around our local CBD.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

We can't verify this story lol, I don't mean no disrespect mate, but if you don't see it with your own eyes you shouldn't believe it happened :D

Maybe his partner released some Doughnut gases in the car and he needed some fresh air. Or maybe he's the one who wanted to release some gases. lol

Not surprising considering the riff raff that exists in your CBD

Mark: I know hard to believe!  He was actually walking on the footpath in New Lynn!!

/Sarcasm

This is obviously a case of wasted Police resources! How dare he walk leisurely down the street, shouldn't he be out catching Criminals and the such? Disgusting!!

I would highly recommend you contact the local Sergeant a make a complaint, if you are not happy with the results from this please contact the IPCA, I'm sure they will find this very disturbing! Anyone know a good journalist?

Come on, what a waste of a thread. Undecided

Kaos36: That's how it should be cops walking the beat, they need to be seen walking the streets daily in pairs. Petty crime would drop in your neighborhood.

100% agree!

We got broken into the other month, our house is a two storey, at the rear of a property with a fairly large German Shepherd patrolling. They climbed the fence on our neighbours property, jumped onto the roof and broke into through the upstairs bathroom.

Interestingly they must have been watching as it happened as my dog was out with the person who walks him each week.

A burgler would have to look like a tennis ball and smell like the cats biscuits before our German Shepherds would get off their arses and take a look.

Sheesh!  Sense of humor failure!

It was a gentle poke fun at the police, because to be perfectly blunt you DON'T see them out walking the beat anymore, they are always in their cars driving around!  The whole community policing thing is missing these days, personally I think they should make time to get out and about and be the local policeman for an area .. paperwork should not be something they have to bother too much about as surely there are office minions who can type up reports from the notes ?

The was a young policeman Mangere junction,
Who's _____ had ceased to function.
For ten years of his life, He deceived his wife.
With the delicate use of his truncheon.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
