freitasm:  Have you noticed all these complaints about discussions going off topic have a person in common?

On the different lists, yes, it's quite often the same offenders, which makes it even more silly that those who are offended don't just filter out the content based on the offender.

Talkiet: You know, I think that feature would make me subscribe.

I thought of creating this feature on Geekzone but some people couldn't get their heads around the idea...

On GZ specifically (which this thread wasn't actually started about at all), I wonder if some people would like an option that doesn't email you a notification on an 'ignored' user or included name in the email text for filtering...

"Hello, DonGould. A new message has been posted to the 'Ignore this thread... why not. Where's the tool?' topic you initiated..."

Wonder if that message might included the posters nick then people could just filter out responses that they're not interested in viewing?

Dratsab: I got a couple of big trailer loads of firewood yesterday.

Where from and how much was it a trailer load?

Firewood was nothing. Only costs were petrol and trailer hire. Brother of a colleague has a farm near Dannevirke. We drove up there, had a nice farm lunch, loaded the trailers and drove back. I paid for all the petrol and hireage of one trailer (other trailer was on loan) - $199 all up for about 5m3. Very happy!!!

Edit: corrected meterage from squared to cubed

Hope it's the Samsung Model that supports 5G and only cost $4 or you got ripped off

Maybe someone could produce a browser plugin like this one, but you could specify the user(s).

Or the user name could just be hard coded in for all Geekzone users
