I grew up being a fan of superheros but lately have been really getting into Game of Thrones.

Has to be stargate.... own every series and movie legitimitely!

Which also has me disappointed as to the fact they are saying Jason is only famous for being on GoT!

Saw the write up in the ODT after it was in Dunedin. So disappointed with work, it interferes with my social life, but it seemed as tho I missed a really great event, good luck to anyone who wins these tickets, enjoy, I am envious.

Would love to take my daughter to Wellington Armageddon.  She's only 10 but she really loves science fiction and fantasy movies.  She was so excited to hear that there will be Hobbit characters at the show.

My favourite shows are Firefly and Battlestar Galactica.  Really well made stuff and great stories for everyone to enjoy.  Cool

Was a big fan of the DC Comics as a kid - especially superman and Judge Dredd.

If I won the tickets though i'd donate them to my friend and his little boy who are huge comic book fans - he paints his own pewter characters and is a pretty good artist himself...

Yes please for Hamilton, never been to an event like this.

Huge fan of Star Wars and Marvel movies, just started getting into Star Trek as well.

Would love to go to Hamilton one.

I'm into Ironman, Batman, Spiderman, Game of Thrones (loving season 3.  Favorite character easily the Half-Man), looking forward to the new Superman movie.  Pretty much all comicbook movies.
Even watched this little number.

As for action figures, this is the last one I bought.

On a more descriptive note; I love films that deal with time travel - it's the one element of the genre that at this stage is still implausible - we can go into space, we can build robots and there is very likely some aliens - but no time travel.

Favourite film franchise is Back to the Future (mainly the first one), really enjoyed Sliders too for TV (and quantum leap). Currently loving the restart of the Star Trek films - saw the latest at the Titan XC last week and came out exhausted. Favourite current TV show is Dr Who - which I watch avidly with my daughters (13 and 10) every week.

Would love to go to the Wellington show :)

What can I say? I guess Game of Thrones is my biggest interest at the moment, given that I'm currently:
  • watching the latest series
  • reading "A Game of Thrones"
  • reading the "Blog of Ice and Fire" (after reading the relevant chapters), and
  • rewatching the first series (same as above).

Edit: I'd like Wellington tickets, please.

Hey there,

I'm in Wellington Cool the city that lives!

Aside from the classics I favour the earlier seasons of Fringe (the later ones where they jump between universes are a little confusing and a bit more predictable...odd given there is a whole nother universe to write in the script), also earlier
seasons of Charmed, and the newer Secret Circle which was cancelled after season one because everyone watched it online.  Great show.

Was really disappointed when The Almighty Johnsons got canned.

Not a G of T fan but could use a closer look at Momo heh heh.

I used to read Issac Asimov (fiction and non fiction) a fair bit, also Rick Riordan/The lightening thief etc etc series when actually I was in my thirties already... *ahem*

I'd love to send you a cosplay pic.  Unfortunately my kids would NEVER forgive me for that lol.  Would like to dress up this year in something that covers my identity.
