Folks, I have FOUR double passes to giveaway here, courtesy of the good folks running the Armageddon Expo 2013.

Armageddon Expo 2013 is happening in Hamilton (25th - 26th May) and Wellington (1st - 3rd June). Each pass is good for TWO people and can be used only once.

"Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa has just confirmed he will be attending the Hamilton and Wellington editions of the Armageddon Expo on 25th - 26th May and 1st – 3rdJune respectively.Famous for his role as Dothraki warlord Khal Drogo in the popular series, Momoa is expected to face record-breaking crowds of fans upon his return to Armageddon this year.

Armageddon organiser William Geradts says he expects Momoa to bring a whole new hoard of fans to the expos, in particular females.

“Game of Thrones is huge, one of the biggest cult shows we’ve seen in years with awesome folklore, characters and costumes, which is the perfect mix for Armageddon. Ticket sales are already going well, but once the public hears that Jason is coming, we’re expecting a spike in sales, and hoping to see more females than usual,” says Geradts.

Momoa returns to New Zealand after visiting Auckland Armageddon in 2009. "

To enter: post a reply here with comments about your favourite comics, characters, scifi movie/series, Extra points for any photo you upload and post showing you in character or with action figures.

...oh, and he also played that little known fantasy character CONAN in the movie, who is one of my favourite fantasy characters of all time. Whilst Arnie was great, Momoa was defintley closer to the original version of conan. Cat-like agility, cunning, and brute strength, rather than the pure dumb muscle of Arnie.

Well I have to say I've always been partial to the Marvel characters...X-Men would have to be y favourites from the tv animated shows to the big screen movies and comics. I recently took advantage of a Marvel Comics offer to sign up to be able to read their 1st run comics for free (digitally).

Wolverine is my favourite Xmen character and I actually like nearly all of them except Scott / Cyclops who always came off as a whiny little ....

Have never been to Armageddon so winning a pass would be fantastic.

Never been to an Armageddon (outta here) either. Always been a fan of Spiderman and The Flash myself.

@StarBlazer - brilliant! :-D

EDIT: "Forum" seems to be the favourite word of a lot of people at the moment, maybe there should be an "Armageddon" forum...

Judge Dredd, old school 80's style Judge Dredd with green boots and all.

That was the stuff. Amazing how thinking of a post-apocalyptic law enforcer who talked to his gun and fought democracy brings back great childhood memories.

Honourable mention to Halo Jones for being the first literature I read in comic book from.

Would love the Armageddon passed, thanks for the memories.

Grew up watching series like Teen Titans and Justice League/Justice League Unlimited. I always enjoyed the band of multiple superheroes in 1 show. In my opinion, it tended to get a little boring and tiring if there was only ever 1 character to focus on.

Also used to be a big fan of Anime a few years back but I guess the appeal to me has worn off. The only thing I've been following is the rebuild movies of the Evangelion as I watched the original series as a kid.

"Feel the force luke" (actually R2D2 is standing in for Luke as Luke has felt a bit too much force and is in pieces). I am one of the stormtroopers. Bonus prize if you guess which one!

I've always been a bit of a Star Wars fan and I've been (very) slowly building my own TK stormtrooper costume for years. Eventually I'll be joining the 501st with it. For May 4th though I made a bit of a X-Wing rebel pilot costume from household items.

Thats a lunchbox on my chest, I made that helmet from a pepakura file I found on the interwebs and paper mache, modified hi-vis overalls, bits of dowel painted silver, combat webbing from an army surplus store, my hiking gators and dress shoes as I didn't have any calf height boots, and other random washers and bits and pieces. Pretty ghetto, but fun at the party I went to.
