That was pretty simple. I can't say I'm that surprised at most of their results though, most people don't seem to know anything outside their daily routine (and even then many struggle).

jeffnz: you guys are way to clever for this old guy I only got 9/13 but one was rushing, even so its ok I'm not a University educated person.

Hey! Dont use age as an excuse - You have had longer to mop up information - of course some does start to fall out of your head to make way for new stuff :-)

I got 13/13 and never went to university - I cant actually think what of this general knowledge would be specifically university taught anyway....

I found I was doubting myself on some of the answers especially the atoms and electrons - I was thinking it was maybe a trick question!

Had to think about the nitrogen one for a bit as I have been caught by that one before in a pub quiz as a semi trick question, and I thought fracking produced oil, which wasn't an answer, so picked natural gas.

100% but the punchline to the joke is that I'm an Arts graduate, Political Studies from Vic, I work in the media and I haven't studied science formally since high school when I did biology which was back in '94.

I did have some help from life experience, I knew the atmosphere question because I was a scuba diving instructor and had to study that kind of thing.

Also my statistical knowledge makes me think that True/False questions are better for graphing information than anything else.

100% here too, double punchline, I'm a female Arts graduate, who was once thrown out of a 5th Form (showing my age there!) science class for my reply to "Where would you find oxygen in water?" My answer was "in the bubbles". Admittedly I hadn't been paying attention and may have been thrown out more for repeatedly insisting my answer was not wrong even if it wasn't the answer the teacher wanted!

That's a really stupid question. I guess the teacher wanted something like 'diffused through the water' or 'at the molecular level bonded to the hydrogen atom'? But really, your answer or 'it's mixed in' is right.

11/13 and that's my memory serving me from 5th form. My last year of high school, with no uni learning.

Like others, I second guessed myself on the air question and fracking.

If I put a little more than a few seconds per question I might have got them all haha.
