davidcole: I just finished watching the "The Crazy Ones" episode which him, where the actress that played Mindy was his new girlfriend.

That one's on the to-do list. It just moved right to the top.

We watched Mork and Mindy the other weekend, so funny.  Our daughter (17) couldn't work out why her mother and I were laughing so much.
Classic.

I'm so shocked and sad about his passing :( No other actor has ever let me experience such a wide range of emotions, from the sadness of Good Morning Vietnam, the inspiration of Dead Poets Society to hysteric laughter every time I see the Genie in Aladdin. Farewell, Mr. Williams. You will be missed.

I didnt like him in Mork and Mindy but Mrs Doubtfire, Jumanji and Dead Poets Society plus others I cant think of off hand were great.  Wasnt impressed with RV.  The one I liked best of all was him in Dead Poets society.   He was a great actor and will be missed

It just goes to show that no matter how famous, popular, wealthy you are, depression and addiction know no boundaries, and to use a cliche we're all human. Such a great loss.

I went to his 'Weapons of Self Destruction' show in Auckland a few years ago, absolutely hilarious he was.

I physically walked into him on the red carpet at the opening of the Planet Hollywood when he was here for the opening. Security jumped on me, but I had my head down and headphones on. He was very nice and waved off his security. Took me a minute to realize to whom I had collided and wish I had my wits about me :)

Introduced the kids to Robin Williams in the form of Aladdin just in the weekend. It was a fantastic performance that had the kids in stitches. Could only have been ad libbed. Stunned to read the story.

Apparently most of the Genie dialogue was ad-libbed.
