Sad to see the news that Robin Williams has died in an apparent suicide. Will always remember growing up to his hilarious roles (can't beat Mrs Doubtfire and Hook)

Rest In Peace Mork. Nanu nanu.

scenes he played in a movie had me crying from laughter, it was the scenes from Old Dogs when they mixed up the medications, so so funny.

Thank you for so many laughs Mr Williams... rest in peace.

Very sad! Even his stuff on that last TV show "The crazy ones" was just gold.

Holy moly! I just listened to his interview on WTF with Marc Maron the other day.  He sure did have some demons but sounded like he was on top of them.  What a difference a couple of years makes.  Very sad.

So much of my childhood was made happy by this man.  From Mork and Mindy, Good Morning Vietnam, Jumanji, Aladdin, Mrs Doubtfire, the stand up shows, and even the ones I didnt really like like RV...
RIP Robin  another of my childhood heroes gone too soon.

Can't stress it enough, if you're feeling down, talk to someone. Pick up the phone and make the call. The first step is the hardest.

Depression cares not for who you, your status or what you do.

Went through a rubbish match a few years back and something my Dad always said stuck with me. It doesn't matter how bad things are, they can ALWAYS get better.

You know you're getting old when all the mainstays of your childhood begin passing on.

This is such a shame. I remember watching a stand up show he did where a couple at the front came in late. He walked right up to the front of the stage and said something like "I'm sorry - I had not realised you were not here yet! I'll start again!" and then proceeded to do the first couple of minutes of the show backwards, including walking off stage backwards the way he came in - and then coming on and doing the start again! So funny. I bet that couple are still embarrassed...!

Depression is a bad thing; We seem to hear so much of it these days - in my mind, there seems to be far more of it since computers and mobile phones appeared, but there may of course be no connection.
