geekiegeek: Private trackers and seedboxes are where its at.

Yeah I might have to start using some of the retardedly large buffer I built up at IPT, SCC and XS when I still had my seedbox :-)

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup. Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

https://torrentfreak.com/pirate-bay-moves-to-the-cloud-becomes-raid-proof-121017/

R
ead this article again, Yup sounds pretty raid proof, they would've only seized the diskless load balancer (which holds everything in ram) and/or the transit router, The actual servers are virtual, encrypted, scattered around data centers around the globe, after 8 hours of no contact with the load balancer they automatically shutdown and can only be booted again with an encryption password

Dot CR, Interesting, Wonder if its legit.

Sometimes working, sometimes 500 internal server error

Apparently the dot cr name isn't legit. It was just a proxy that only a proxy that needed the real Pirate Bay to work

Has this in any way affected the likes of Kickass Torrents?  It's almost as if less than quarter of their original database is available.
