Openbittorrent tracker went down a few days ago

Has caused havoc for many rtorrent based servers, failed dns request comes back and it essentially hangs under too much load.

Quite a flaw in the logic of iver libtorrent or rtorrent (have not seen this happen in deluge yet, so unlikely to be libtorrent but the way rtorrent implements it ild say.)

Piratebay never was a "tv program site" and there is plenty more places content could come from out there...

Heres the article on piratebay reportedly being raided. im sure it will probably prop up again.. it always does..

Ill simply say as i said before.

There is plenty more out there.

Some just dont fly a flag saying HEY HEY IM OVER HERE!

Worth pointing out piratebay moved away from using their own tracker ages ago, its all magnets expecting to use DHT, trackers as backup... There are plenty of "indexing" sites out there.

The irony is, in the underground sites the real issue isnt being raided but simply Competition causing issues between the communities, and it overflowing to a "fight of sorts"

bugger, was a good way to have decent TV content instead of cooking and renovation crap on TV now.

Kat and demonoid are still online. Will be interesting to see if they can actually kill it time.

I would like all the aged hippies to make a circle join hands for a stirring rendition of "We shall overcome!" Hmmm I suppose if I downloaded torrents Not that I do of course I would just go to kickass and the world would keep on spinning...
