I’ve experienced all of what you describe including the old packages coming back from the dead. It also seems to log me out every day so I’m forced to log back in.

I agree, it’s astounding how something so bad could be considered ready to release to the public, and advertised.

When I've hit the mobile/name/pw. It seems to be because the token/session has expired but the app is dormant and can't work it out.

Kill it from tasks, reload and you're back to the browser pass auth window.

Makes me think even more it's a bad website reformat for mobile to appear as an app.

Many of us discussed the issue here back when they changed the website(well before the app launch), why even launch the app when you have the same limitations as the website lol

Somebody at at NZ Post must've had a brainwave because all of the logging-in rigmarole has been fixed. What a shame that the parcel tracking updates are broken now 🤷‍♂️

Agree, having to log in constantly makes it pointless.

sounds like its the same developers as NZLotto app.  That does the same thing.

I've never had login issues with the MyLotto Android app. Must be an iOS problem.

At least with the Lotto app it can now allow a fingerprint login, so it's reasonably simple.

For the past 2 days I haven’t had any issues with the app - it hasn’t prompted for sign in, has remembered my details, hasn’t needed to be force closed, and my packages have remained loaded and up to date. Perhaps they’ve sorted their issues…

Would be great to have push notifications on package status change, but guess I’ll settle for ‘basic functionality appears to work’.

Looks like the latest update adds push notifications. Yet to receive any yet but I assume this will be on package status change, which would be really useful.

This is the most pointless app. Obviously still being baked in the oven - shouldn't have released it so early. And 10 months later it doesn't do anything additional to the website. I still get notifications via email, and the website is more reliable than the app.

I am not being critical I am just being frank here. What is the point? I am sure there will be at some point (mind the pun).
