Its now nearly a month since this item was ordered and still showing as clearing customs on 14th Sept with no further tracking so I suspect it has vanished.
When I started a refund process the page showed this...

'Get full refund if not received by ${date}

You can request a refund after ${date}. Thank you for your patience.'

Is that just a page error or does that indicate that I have to wait for a specific time before I can request a refund?

 I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Good luck with a refund.

My most expensive, and last (and final ever) order got to the refund date.

Tracking had ceased at departure country/region.

Requested refund and was told to prove it wasn't delivered.

refered them to tracking never reaching NZ.

They still refused and closed off the order.

End of AliExpress for me.

I usually use Parcelsapp (a free website) to check for Aliexpress and other packages which can have multiple tracking numbers in awkward formats.

A lot of my international orders end up getting received in Auckland, then tracking stops, and suddenly it's at my front door. I assume new tracking numbers are being applied locally and not updated in connection with the original. It's not ideal, but luckily I haven't had anything go missing yet.

ParcelsApp (the app, not the web site) shows a near-miraculous ability to track parcels across different carriers, it'll start with one tracking number, then convert to a different one on a different carrier, and sometimes even a third.  My previous goto, 17Track, often can't even locate the first one, and never finds subsequent ones.
