Chilly night with sub-zero temps in many parts

Well, yes; it's winter.  What did you expect?

But only yesterday the Herald front page was exclaiming how warm it was!

The latest 'breaking the internet' image in the NZH today. But my internet seems to be still working. Go figure...........

There was an article about how much people hated clickbait, and were annoyed when they clicked on it, a couple of days ago.

Neither the article nor the headline were particularly dumb per se.

What made them dumb was that immediately below the article was a section of "promoted content", with some of the most egregious and blatant clickbait I have seen.

The juxtaposition was pretty funny (and silly) IMO.

Superman implicated in murder
You won't believe what happened next.

Which goes to a page containing an animated GIF, saying:

The Joker was here
Sorry, the content you were looking for has been stolen.

All a sponsored ad for the upcoming Suicide Squad movie.

So Superman commits a murder. What are you going to do? Ask Lex Luthor to borrow some Kryptonite?

Apparently a headline posing question, accompanied by a speculative post from twitter now comprises an article.

If they had sent some reporters over their, instead of having a massive tanty, then maybe they could investigate.

Every time my Internet has broken it has been a problem with 2Degrees or Enable fibre. Do the Kardashians work at one of these companies?

Why does it have to be one or the other?
