Behodar:

The sue-happy Americans are at it again... I imported a Blu-ray movie from the US and the back of the packaging says that you'll need "a TV and a Blu-ray player (not included)". You think?!

Then someone would complain about also needing an HDMI cable and having to pay for power for the TV and player. And that is assuming no HDCP errors. As then they could sue due to not being able to watch the movie in HD.

Packets of nuts served on planes in America actually used to come with instructions (don't know if they still do):

"Open packet, eat nuts."

The first chilis to be harvested on the balcony. We had +30~32°C during the last weeks. The Jalapenos will be 'upgraded' to Chipotle.

Remember letter holders? I found a lovely one at Plastic Box, all metal, no plastic, painted white and patterned to look a bit like snowflakes. It was so attractive I bought two (only $10). But what to do with them? Who has letters anymore?

Turns out they are perfect for holding my collection of remotes, air mouses, small tablets. I smile every time I look at them, all neat and easily accessible in one place. No more shuffling through papers and other desk rubbish searching for the right remote. Sweet.

Inadvertently funny stock photos used in the news (in this case Radio NZ).

I'd be anxious driving a left hand drive car in NZ.
