Couldn't disagree more. 2 episodes in and it's just awful.
Same here, close to writing it off as being watch worthy
Episode 3 might bring you back
@Handsomedan:
I've just finished watching it and am looking forward to July 1st when it will be concluded with another few episodes.
I understand TV series like Grey's Anatomy and The Blacklist (even others) have mid-winter breaks. But a streaming series? Should go into the [ANNOY] thread.

This year both Better Call Saul and Ozark split their final seasons into two parts separated by weeks or months.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
Borgen - Power and Glory on Netflix.
I hadn't realised they were making a new (fourth) season of this Danish political series until I saw it last night on Neflix's 'newly released' line. We'd really enjoyed the first three seasons (dating back from 2010-2013), and this new season has many of the same actors, just looking a few years older. Must have been shot relatively recently given the references to Russia's invasion of Ukraine (unless these were retrospectively inserted into a more generic Russian-related plot). Still excellent viewing, if this is your cuppa cha.
Annoyingly, we had only decided earlier this week to cancel Netflix for a few months due to a lack of must-watch content (a big change, given we've had a non-stop sub since March 2014), so now have three days to get through the eight episodes!

Did you watch ep 3 before typing that? I don't want to spoil it for anyone so I won't list the myriad things that made it even worse than the previous 2.
Not sure why I'm putting myself through it. I guess I just love watching a train wreck (only I'm not even enjoying how bad it is, it's just sad what they've done to the franchise and characters).
I did, clearly the show isn't for you, I love it.
I think episode 3 was really where things got together.

Pistol (Disney +) . I enjoyed this , but i am not a big Sex Pistol or a Johnny Rotten Fan and they seem to be the haters. But people forget that the story is based on Shane Jones memoirs and im pretty sure he remembers things differently than other people. Great music and it looks like it was shot in 70's London . 8/10
Common sense is not as common as you think.
Those Who Kill - IPlayer - 6/10
Danish cop series with every 2 episodes covering a different serial killer. Fairly formulaic with a female lead detective and an odd ball male sidekick. Watchable but not as good as The Bridge.

Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix. Enjoying it so far, casting is pretty decent.
How I met your Father. We are almost at the end of season 1, took me a while to warm to it, but I am enjoying it mostly.
Will probably watch S2
Enjoyed Lincoln Lawyer also. I very rarely watch NF but this came highly recommended and it turned out to be a good one. Might hunt out the movie now to see how that is

The two most recent Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (TVNZ) were really good.

Continuing with Young Sheldon with the kids, we are a season and 3 quarters in, and it's just such wholesome funny television. The character development and acting is really very good, you end up quite attached to the characters and their differences and how they live with them all.
Have been watching 'only murders in the building'. It was highly recommended, and whilst I can't stop watching it, it's very... all over the place. I am not even sure I am enjoying it. Does it get better? I think we are at ep 4 now.
There have been some episodes that have allowed us to give our kids a demonstrable moral lesson or visceral lesson in a particular topic, with a nice soft approach to it that has been quite educational for our kids without being jarring.
Watching Friends on Netflix - never watched it before, so why not? On season 7 now. It's actually quite funny although halfway through it you certainly take sides with some of the characters and think one or another are just bumbling idiots (and I am not talking about Joey, who actually is pretty good).

Have started watching Daredevil on Disney+
I'm really enjoying it. Started watching as the main character turned up in the latest Spiderman movie. I assume that means he's entering the MCU proper, so will need to familiarise myself with this version of the character.

‘The Tower’ - Brit police show in the vein of ‘Line of Duty’. On TVNZ+, three episodes.
Truly excellent IMO.
