Large organisations who have not checked whether their email actually works. I emailed Radio NZ's technical people using the email address on the RNZ website.

It bounced saying that no such address exists...!

A local school updated the email address on their website. Unfortunately they only updated the text portion, not the URI (mailto: in this case) pointed to the old address that bounced back. When I pointed it out they said it must have been way for MONTHS. Whoops!

Two schools on the major urban road we live on have only one School Zone sign functioning at a time due to faulty equipment. A few days ago a speed camera was parked a few metres from the non-functioning sign, while the other sign (not visible from that location) was operating. Most motorists didn't slow down from 50Kph funnily enough.

This led me to closing my facebook account. A number of my professional female friends gave up the high powered jobs to have children and were trapped at home with newborns and my feed drowned in updates of pictures of babies and the minutia of child raising. I get how important your child is (I've got one) but pages and pages of baby activities got very very boring...

The trend I see is that the more your are IT the less your are Facebook. Off course there are exceptions.

People at the gym who can't put their weights back in the correct locations. All you have to do is match the barbell plates by weight or size. Instead of putting 5 different sizes on the same peg. Meaning that to get the particular size that you want, you have to remove heaps of plates and put them back again. Instead of being able to just grab the one that is on the top. Any preschool kid would be able to arrange the plates into groups of same size plates, Yet some adults seem to struggle with this simple concept.

At least my current gym is an improvement on the big chain gym that I used to go to. Where at least half of the people in the weights area suddenly became extremely weak at the end of their sets, so much so that they were unable to re-rack their weights. And then magicly regain their strength just in time to start the next exercise.

Are you referring to a variable speed sign? School zones without a limit change aren't conditional on signage, the 4km/h tolerance exists within 250m of a school.

Today's grizzle: Courier tracking.

"Your parcel is currently in transit between our 'Auckland' and 'Wellington' depots."

Does this mean that it's on its way to Wellington (it shouldn't be!) or is it poor wording for "it's going to somewhere between Auckland and Wellington"? In any case, today was the last day of the 3-day estimate window, and no sign of it...

One of my brothers is guilty of this. His entire FB page is devoted to his son.

One of my other brothers tried to explain to him tactfully that the every doing of his child was of little interest to 99.99999999% of people outside him and his wife. It did not go well!

We now refer to the child as "Golden Balls" behind his back.

Today's annoyance is the fact that I have to periodically pull the plug on my TV because Netflix hangs and won't load from the home screen, just saying "We are having trouble accessing those programs for you". Pull the plug, reboot the TV and it works first time....

We are hunting for a house at the moment... Looking for new/couple years old.
Every single god dam bathtoom has the EXACT SAME shower. Crappy little plastic tray with stupid plastic walls. Grrrrrrrrrrr!

Probably because building consent / inspection process for bespoke tiled showers etc isn't worth the hassle to builders.

Is it a Sony Android? We have the same problem. I find if you hit "back" on the loading screen you get an option to force Netflix to quit. Reloading it without a full restart seems to work 95% of the time.
