Experimenting with a mixed multi vendor (best of each) plants irrigation system embedded into Home Assistant (applying Ockham‘s razor). Promising.

Vietnamese cilantro is not the real cilantro - just a naming for a different species nothing common with cilantro.
Nevertheless I like both but for my son, (only) the real cilantro tastes like a block of soap.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Catched ONE rare Raspberry Pi 4B-8GB for an IT project in my son’s school due to a specific supplier‘s customer MakerSpace support program. They didn‘t believe they now can complete their project before the great summer school holidays. :-)

Seeing this front page headline in today's DomPost: Govt to Lift Lid on Documents? (listed as In potentially seismic shift, Government could release almost all advice to ministers on Stuff) immediately made me think of the Yes Minister "Open Government" episode - https://youtu.be/40Br165MhLU
neb: That the geniuses at a Mitre 10 paint centre managed to completely mis-tint a 4L tin of what on the colour chart was Rodeo Dust, a nice warm timber-look brown but in actual fact is post-curry-bowel-movement brown when you spread it over a larger surface, into a shade which, while it matches no known colour in the Resene range, is a helluva lot nicer on the pergola than Post-Curry Brown would have been.
In case someone's wondering what Post-Curry Brown looks like, it's this:
Unfortunately no amount of fiddling with white balance adjustment managed to capture the particular shade of brown there, but it's pretty bad. The two sample bits of timber on top that look nothing like Rodeo Dust are the mis-tint from M10, I made up a few samples so we can do a custom colour match if we ever need more of it.
Incidentally, if anyone wants about 1L of paint in Post-Curry Brown and lives in Orkland for pickup...

One of the creamier ones, maybe Chicken Korma or Madras, mild to medium.

My young daughter singing in the shower. It's awful. Truly truly truly terrible. Out of tune and pitchy and so loud, but she is happy and innocent and having a great time despite all of lifes challenges.
