Guardians of the Galaxy 2

Not as good as the first one, but still a funny and entertaining watch. Well worth seeing. 8/10

SJB:

A couple of oldish ones.

The Tourist. Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie. Awful. Avoid. 3/10

Alive. The story of the plane that crashed in the Andes and the survivors who lasted nearly 10 weeks in freezing temperatures at altitude before being rescued. I don't know how they did it. 7.5/10.

I remember watching Alive at the cinema as a teenager. It was a tough watch at the time and I still vividly remember many of the scenes. But probably quite a tame film by today's standards.

Yes, pretty tame compared to what you see today but the story of what they endured still stands up.

So is the consensus hat wonder women is a good movie?

I was really looking forward to it but I've held off going because the trailer I saw made it look really overdone.

You make it sound like you've never seen a trailer before :D

Lego Batman movie.

Better than many adult films I have seen recently. Prophetic somehow to see it on the day Adam West died, too (not deliberately - entirely a case of serendipity.)

Headshot.  8/10.  if you saw the The Raid and it's sequel, then you need to see this. Same actor and same level of insane action and violence. Definitely R rated.

Dont watch if you like a plot and character development, no one is alive long enough to matter.

After two decades re-watched "Midnight Express" last night 5/5 - WOW still love it. Did not realise that Oliver Stone was the screen writer. Nor did I realise the impact it had on Turkey. I would like to watch the doco which was released last year - Midnight Return: The Story of Billy Hayes and Turkey (2016)

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Oliver Stone received an Oscar for his screenplay.
