DravidDavid: What about HAARP. That was another one I thought was crazy, but after a little reading, there is merit behind the theories.

There was a lot of secrecy back in 1992 involving HAARP but now a lot of information has been brought to the general public.

Most people think it's bonkers that HAARP could be used as a weapon or to modify the weather but the science behind HAARP has a lot to do with this ---> guy

He had some pretty radical ideas.

The Australians used Haarp weapons to disrupt the flight of the rugby balls during the last World Cup, in particular in the South Island matches.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

No I live in town, but have done some work out there.

So if you find aluminium and barium in a natural water source, would you take that to mean that other places that claim they have been sprayed probably haven't been, or would you take it to mean we have been sprayed too?

We have 'water' people at work who sample water all the time, if you need any data or other info.

I'm pretty sure DoC sample water all the time as part of their usual activities. Probably normally only analysed for organisms rather than metals though.

I do remember on the news one time they showed a proposal for a hose extending from the earth to the upper atmosphere that would spray an aerosol to combat global warming.

Prevention is better than cure, and geoengineering is a stupid idea. I guess if we continue to burn fossil fuels at the same rate for another 50 years we may have no choice.

Like Skolink said, the Department test the water a lot especially for Didymo - I just simply made a suggestion to look out for the said metals. So I hardly think it's going to be of great stress to the 'tax' payers money.

So given that it would probably be an extraordinary health risk if proven that there are extreme levels of Aluminium & Barium in natural water supplys, no I would say that OUR tax money would not be spent in vain.

Speaking of where our tax money goes from the NZ government... I'm sure people here could generate a hefty list on really stupid things "tax" has been spent on.

Carbon Taxes for instance... That one always gets people boiling.

I would take that to mean 'we' have been sprayed too. Considering that Geoengineering is a global thing.

That sounds like a really stupid idea ^^^, but also it doesn't surprise me. Funny enough for the people that think chemtrails are a myth, they have certainly appeared on the 'news' frequently enough.

I agree with this whole sentance. It's sadly true.

Recently? Hmmm, probably that the ChCh earthquakes were either deliberately man-made or that they were known about but nobody was told.

Ground water wouldn't be an indication of chemtrails being sprayed and both chemicals could have got there via other means.

I've read all the stock arguments for why contrails are actually chemtrails but none of them hold water (pardon the pun.)

Could you please explain to me how these metals would appear in a natural water source via other means? Keep in mind we are speaking of an area that is miles away from any road-ways or high-ways etc. I'm talking way, way out in the back country.

Barium does occur naturally. It's generally present in particulate form (from industrial emissions.) It can be found in igneous and sedimentary rocks.

Wouldn't you want to sample these trails directly if you were trying to prove that's what's happening?

I'm aware but levels of Barium in the enviroment are very low. The air most people breathe has approximately 0.0015 parts of Barium per billion (ppb) - It's much higher amounts then this that raises the alarm to human health impacts.

Wouldn't you want to sample these trails directly if you were trying to prove that's what's happening?

Acquiring an aeroplane that can fly at stratosphere altitude is a little hard to come by...

But do-able. Where are these so-called experts in the field of chemtrails and why aren't they attempting this?

I guess for now we have to trust that they are what they look like - condensation trails.

Though I'm sure with a conspiracy as massive at this (it's involve many, many thousands of individuals) there'll be whistle-blowers falling over themselves to bust this story out.
