Yes I've noticed quite a few "before they were famous" actors and actresses in a number of episodes too - one even has Monica from Friends.

His Dark Materials - Season 3 IPlayer - 5/10

Final season of the Phillip Pullman trilogy. I would rate it higher if it wasn't for the awful acting of the two lead characters, Lyra and Will.

Lyra's spoilt brat face is permanently annoying and Will is so wooden it's difficult to tell if he is actually alive.

Yellowstone S5 on Neon - still a great show.

Started Raising Hope when I needed something to watch when I am too tired to pay attention. Still good for a few laughs.

I recently watched Only Murders In The Building on Disney+. Quite good, although I feel the plots were fairly generic whodunnit type stuff but what made it work was the eccentricity of the characters.

I just came across "Singing Detective". The show's premise sounds interesting

Written by the much lauded Denis Potter. Also wrote Pennies From Heaven (starring a young Bob Hoskins) and Blue Remembered Hills.

Remember they are from nearly 50 years ago so focus on the storyline and acting rather than slickness of production.

kingdragonfly: I just came across "Singing Detective".

I remember watching that series on old school TV.
Its quite trippy , but resolves to sanity at the end .

Id give it a 9/10 (from memory)

Acapulco, on Apple TV. I really enjoyed the first season and the second one is just as good.
