gehenna: The last of us, and I am very relieved. It's so good.

It's SO good. I was worried, but it felt crazy familiar. It's an incredible port. I only hope they can continue in the vein in which they started.

I wouldn’t watch the second episode just before bedtime.

They got the Clickers right, in fact they've got everything right so far, even the things they changed! Can't wait to see where it goes. Episode 2 was phenomenal.

Started watching Willow on Disney+.

I'd forgotten how poor an actor Warwick Davies was.

But so far, it's OK.

Also started watching the new Witcher series on Netflix. It's alright so far.

He was really good in Life's Too Short, and he seems really good off the cuff, but acting to a script....yeah.  But honestly, it's that American princess that drove me away from the show.

Blood Origin is currently the lowest rated Netflix original series, good luck to you 😂

You fill me with such hope for the future of the series!

Just watched a three-part series on Acorn TV called "Karen Pirie" based on the books by Val McDermid. I realise you need to be of a "certain age" to have an Acorn TV subscription, but if you enjoy British cop dramas, you'll enjoy this one. Same producers as for the "Line of Duty" and "Bodyguard" series.

As a non book reader but game enjoyer and witcher tv show enjoyer - my wife and I enjoyed the witcher blood origin series. I mean not amazing, but it was decent enough.

[minor SPOILER]

I'll add a plus one for Karen Pirie.  It's one of those made in Scotland to the extent that American viewers will need subtitles, but this expat Brit had no problem.  It's a wee bit stereotypical having a short lady detective given a cold case because

someone doesn't actually want it solved, but she shocks and surprises against all odds, and that same someone lives to rue the day he underestimated her.  Great characters, decent acting and a great production from the same team that did Line of Duty.

Hah!  Just found a video about people complaining that they could not understand a word, but I bet they are the sort of people who would struggle with 'fush and chups from wullington' so feck em!

I haven't got the nerve to rewatch Ep2 yet, but considering those clicker things cant see, they dont seem to bump into much. Have they got sonar or something?

Yes, the use echo location. That’s why they click.

@senecio chur! I know nothing of the video game and have watched only these 2 eps, and the second with hands over eyes for bits, so I must have missed that crucial piece of info somewhere along the line.

Have to admit, we turned subtitles on after several "what did they just say?" moments...
