I’ve lost track of the numbers of orders that have not been delivered. 5 orders going back to October have failed to arrive. Refunds are never disputed so I’m now convinced a large number of items are never sent by the seller. I’m certain a lot of orders, (especially lower value items), are never disputed and just written off by the buyer. Easy money for unscrupulous sellers!

Given the lengthening wait times, the increased likelihood of not getting my orders at all and the too frequent discovery that what I ordered is a misrepresented piece of crap backed up by fake reviews, I’ve given up on buying from them.

That is one good thing about eBay, less of a range of techno-junk than Ali but it almost always arrives, and usually fairly quickly as well.

My three orders from the first half of October have reached the end of their buyer protection period. I asked for all three to be refunded and all three have, the sellers didn't even dispute them.

Even before covid I always found deliveries from Aliexpress to be very slow, usually 2-3 months, with the occasional one that never turned up. I'm going to stop buying from them until things improve, probably for the rest of the year.

Think I'm done with them too. Found something I wanted on Amazon, more expensive but 2-3 weeks as opposed to 2-3 months is far more appealing.

Ordered 3 things from Banggood recently, and they came 2 1/2 - 3 weeks.

The tracking for my most recent order is showing that it arrived in Auckland tomorrow.

I've had 3 of my 6 outstanding packages turn up today. So I expect the others will eventually get here. Most were ordered October / November. But one that turned up today was ordered end of December.

AliExpress needs to update it so it has a realistic timeframe even UBI are lying about it. China post is cheaper and faster wth, Day 24 after leaving port only 30 more to go

shapes:

no aliexpress but i bought a gaming handheld from ebay it shipped same day i bought it on the 9th of sep and tracking says  New Zealand, Arrived at destination country airport that was on the 16th sep so i wonder when i will get my item

Same, I hate nz post, just a pain in the butt sunyou sucks cainiao sucks. The only time my cainiao arrived was when it was sent using China small packet by Air because cainiao wanted to. Nz post doesn't deliver after it arrives in their warehouse, it takes over 30 days, I had to fight with them to get my orders from them.

I had ten items no show after the 90 expires and aliexpress investigated and said that they will turn up as it on a container at sea.

I've had a couple of AE orders arrive quite quickly. I placed orders around Xmas/NY and they were waiting when I got home from a trip the other day.

Tip from the thread may have worked: don't use default/cainao shipping. I went for something like Singapore post each time.

Sadly not gonna change anytime soon not sure if they are scamming them with cheaper shipping for same price as i got a random "Orange connex" one that took like a week door to door with similar tracking number in nz oh i pray it goes back to the 1-2 weeks not 1-3 months. Looks like im staying with superbuy for now
