I am not sure if I mentioned this or not earlier, but I have also been watching Silo on Apple TV+
a few episodes in and it's pretty gripping stuff. I am waiting for the big plot twist - they are certainly winding up for one.

Bad Sisters on ATV+. Just finished it - excellent IMO.

Now watching Better - on TVNZ+ (also on iPlayer, without ads). Another excellent show - UK cop crime series.

We have been watching Catastrophe on TVNZ+. Stopped midway through S2 (out of four) - I’m by no means a prude but I just found it a bit too smutty and too smartar*e. Not bad but got sick of it.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
The Second Crisis is coming. Foundation returns for Season two July 14 on Apple TV+.
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Any show that has both Lee Pace and Jared Harris chewing the scenery is a go too,
Although Jared Harris speaking in "Belter" Patois in the Expanse is my current favourite character of his, particularly when it involved Thomas Jane....
Watched the first series of Foundation. Had no idea sci-fi could be so boring.

I've decided that as a Star Wars fan I should really watch the Clone Wars, particularly with Ahsoka due out soon.
I tried watching Clone Wars a few years ago, and got confused when I found out that there was actually a film that came out before the TV show. I managed a few episodes but got distracted and let it go. I tried again a while later, but the same thing happened. I concluded that it was just not gripping enough to hold my attention.
So this is probably my third attempt. I've set my jaw and am grim-faced in my determination to make it further. I'm around episode 15 of season one and I have to say...it's dull. I put it on in the evenings and often find myself doomscrolling while it plays in the background.
I don't know what it is about Clone Wars that fails to grip me. Maybe it's aimed at a younger audience (though I've enjoyed plenty of things aimed at kids before), or maybe it's because the stories are (so far, at least) quite erratic and disconnected. It seems to leap from character to character, with little (again, so far) in the way of character development (though I will concede that there was precious little character development in the main movies, particularly the prequels). Maybe it's the lack of any real stakes in the show - clone troopers are effectively disposable NPCs (I'm aware of characters like Rex and Cody, but I have yet to develop any attachment to them - I also find their Australian accents grating), we know main characters like Obi Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka, Padme, Dooku, and even Grievous all survive into the films, so there's no risk in any of their adventures.
If there are any fans out there, is it worth leaping ahead to any key episodes to try avoid some of the dross? There's a lot to wade through otherwise...
Clone Wars builds and builds to some pretty epic Star Wars. It's a long show though, you have to grind a bit.
Watch order......

Personally I prefer the release order

From what we have seen in the trailers so far, the 4 seasons of "Rebels" will likely provide more backstory and tie ins
Certainly all the cast of Rebels seem to featured ...
If anything it would be the last, recent season (released in 2020) of Clone wars that would be most interesting.
I've just started re-watching Hell On Wheels, on Amazon Prime NZ. Must be the 3rd time I've watched this. Very good show!
BUT! It is very annoying that seasons 2 is not available, and season 3 only has 1st and last episode. Season 1 also had most episodes missing but was fixed after a few weeks or so.
Is this because of existing rights issues or error on prime video?
Have now started watching Preacher on TVNZ. This also is very good show and worthy of binge watching status.
We're watching a couple of things at the moment.
Cloak and Dagger - it's been tough going but we still plug away. Disney+
Locke & Key - season 2 and again I have started to really struggle with this one. Netflix
The Big Door Prize - A new show on Apple TV+ which is about a small town where a machine turns up that gives out cards that show "your life's potential".
It's a dramedy (or more drama, really) and covers a lot of different topics, but we're bingeing it, as we are hooked. Stars Chris O'Dowd as the main character.
Silo - cannot wait for the next episode. I'm hooked.
Finished Hello Tomorrow! on Apple TV+. It was a slow burner, but I got there in the end. A good series as it turned out. Just slower than it probably needed to be.
FUBAR - Arnie does Arnie things in this action comedy series. CIA undercover operatives living double lives etc etc etc. Good fun if you switch off your brain.

I actually quite enjoyed it. Enough that I even went on to read the first book. I was somewhat surprised to find that the most interesting part of the show (the Genetic Dynasty) wasn't even in the book.
