Casablanca (1942)  At Event in Hamilton about two weeks ago.   First time I've seen it and the first time since about the 1960s that I have seen a 4x3, B/W mono sound movie.   I gave it a 7 .  Was a good movie for it's day and all the technology used was state of the art in 1942 not modern day replicas.

Black Panther. Most overrated film of all time.

It's not a bad film but not as good as Thor Ragnarok or the Guardians of the Galaxy series.

andrewNZ: Annihilation.

I let myself finish it, but only because I promised to not think about it and ask why or how.

A kind of cool steaming pile of rubbish.

? 4/10, can not recommend.

Agreed. Hugely overrated

Ditto.  Full of promise, some parts that make you think "hell yeah!"...then....well....nothing.

3/10 but 2 of those is only because it starred Natalie Portman with a gun.  Hooraa

The latest Star Wars, I enjoyed it. There is one part of the story I didn't like but over all a good movie

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Black Panther. I suspect the FUG would prevent me from adequately describing the film other than to say I thought it was a steaming pile of preachy dross that bore - as someone said above I think - a passing resemblance to the Lion King. Utter pants, especially the latter half.

Thanks for reminding me why I chose a year or two back, to stop watching any more Marvel or other comic book/superhero movies.

Not a movie as such, but I just watched the 6 episode TV sequel to the 1992 movie Romper Stomper. It's _reallly_ good.

Snatched (2017) 3/10

It wasn't my choice. I expected bad but got truly terrible. It's an hour and a half of my life that I won't get back again. Avoid.

ON NETFLIX

Annihilation = I am glad I can multitask - read the Herald on my iPad whilst watching. = 5/10

Game Over, Man = Oh so bad, stopped watching after 15 minutes. = 2/10

The Titan = ok movie, again I multitasked. = 6/10

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

There was a trailer for Ant Man & The Wasp, which looked like fun.

Ok, ok, I'll relent. I promise I'll watch the trailer, and I promise I won't watch the movie.
