beauty lies in the eye of the beholder

they can have 3x 7-series limos and I will happily buy the Genesis off them when they're done with the rest of the fleet

Yes it is but a luxury car is still luxury car regardless of what pictures you throw up and the Hyundai isn't a luxury car so make up your mind as you said a "limo"

Electric is a good idea for a replacement.

It has to start somewhere, If the Crown fleet and other Govt vehicles went electric it would provide the impetus to get the infrastructure built.

As if any beneficiaries have 60K lying around to buy a BMW :)

I'll be that guy...

Seem to be a lot of beneficiaries running around in nice newish model Holdens, have Sky TV and more holidays overseas than me, so why not one of them have a ex-govt BMW..... Im sure WINZ will cover the repayments.

(yeah, Im bitter :-p)

Quantify a lot? I know of SOME, but I guess it depends what you consider a lot.

I'd be impressed if you could name one beneficiary rolling around in a late model Holden.

Of course, one who wasn't also getting income from other forms of crime and fraud. Which makes them a criminal first and foremost, not a beneficiary.

Just a shame they're diesels... A good 750Li would have better resale value.

And in 15-20 years I could have one! My current ride was $198,950 in 1995. I paid $5,000 and everything works fine :D

btw, a corolla might be good for 500,000k, but it'd be shagged. Shame the gearbox needs some work in this 405,000k BMW... I know what I'd rather drive.
