Wow this editor is broken!

Does anyone know what the GOVT does with it's old Limos? Seems like they are getting some new ones?

LOL :

However, he warned the 3-litre, 6-cylinder diesel cars were expensive to keep on the road. "They [the buyers] can expect to spend thousands for even a basic service. Any major repair will probably cost you about the same as a new Chinese car - they are not recommended for beneficiaries."

As if any beneficiaries have 60K lying around to buy a BMW :)

Same reporter for both articles referenced.
Must be a slow political news day.
I do wonder how many k's these vehicles will have clocked up though.

I don't see it that way. Our PM doesn't even have his own plane. In this day and age is that reasonable?

Quantify a lot? I know of SOME, but I guess it depends what you consider a lot.

Keep an eye out on trade me, 2007 730LD, one lady owner, barely used and full service history.

A Toyota Corolla would be a cheaper replacement, they will do 500,000km's easy and cheap to service. Only problem is some of the larger MP's might not be that comfortable sitting in the back.

They used to get sold off at Turners and I imagine they still will. I think the last ones went for circa $40k. Sadly without the CR plates on them!

They are nice cars - I went in them once or twice.

To be honest, even one person affording that whilst living off the hard work of others is too many.

Plus Corollas are most common in white and we know that Hone doesn't like white ones! No chance of his daughter being taken to the prom in a white one either.
