Will be celebrating Pastover by eating spaghetti dressed like pirates.  So very similar to Holiday except no decorated tree.
This year we'll be saying a special prayer for hope - that the The Fork Horseman of the Apastalypse slays the false meatball:

Don't forget your festivus pole

The only Pole I knew was a Pope.

One thing that is hard, is being able to switch off once you are working from home. You are moments away from replying to that one email you didn't quite get to, or sending that last quote, or following up on that one client issue.

It will be the hardest part of trying to get a break is pretending my "office" is actually 100KM away. One way I like to help myself here is.. Would I do this work task, if I had to travel 1 Hour return trip to do it.

I know what you mean.  We've developed a nightly ritual, to signal the end of the working day.

Shut the office door and leave it shut until the next day.

Put some music on, have some nibbles and a drink, then start making dinner.

Works for us.

I always work from home. I work whenever I have work to do - even Christmas Day more than once in the last few years!

I'm a helluva optimist really - apart from this constant feeling of impending doom I've been feeling so far this year.
The forecast looks okay here for the pagan festival called "Easter", but there's no way I'll be pitching a tent in the backyard.  But then again I don't have young kids, and a camping holiday in the back yard if you do seems like a very good idea.  Hope it's fun - enjoy.

Tents been up since Friday as it was my daughters 4th birthday and i though it might be something cool for her birthday, given the circumstances. will leave it up for a few weeks as it needs to weather again.

Yup.  Sounds like fun - hope she loves it.  All the best.

Our place backs on to a reserve so will hide some eggs down there for the kids. Gona toast some marshmallows too, and the kids want to go camping so might set up the tent. Chuck in some beers, a bit of gaming and reading and it will be like most other weekends, looking forward to it!

I am going to camouflage myself with Easter egg paint, lie in wait for the Easter bunny, rip his ears off and stuff hard-boiled eggs up his backside while gorging on chocolate and singing the Easter bunny song.

I was supposed to be in Hawaii next week. Employer still wanting me to take my booked leave, so will have to pretend I'm uncontactable unless its an emergency.
