Anyone remember the Georgie Pie in Porirua, next to the railway line? It was enterprise cars, and is now turning into a McDonalds site with 75 car park for customers.

I finally can get McDonalds on the way home and not have to get out of the car

I suspect after listening to the guy on Radio live try to restart Georgie Pie that McDs will do all it can to block the use of "their" trade name of Georgie Pie. So don't expect to see anything soon..

as they haven't used their trademark for a decade, an argument could be made it has lapsed? I think something like that has done before, but the time period probably needs to be a lot longer?
