I have a question that didn't warrant a new thread, does anyone here work for any of:

Harvey Norman, Power Store, Smith City, Noel Leeming, Bond and Bond.

If so I would appreciate a PM so I can ask the Q without hijacking the thread.

Question relates to appliance area, that needs someone who can lay their hand on the boxes or otherwise has reasonable product knowledge in appliances.

I'm liking the 20% - 25% off mobile phones from various retailers. At 20% off that makes the price of a shiny new Windows Phone 7 handset (the HTC Trophy) only $720.

Order went through but I had to use the Bank Transfer option. To my surprise this price also includes free freight and an XT Sim as well when you look at the completed order.

Free sim doesnt show on the advertising so it must just be a bonus!

I can use it to sell with my old phone so this upgrade is going to cost next to nothing dependinf on what I get on TM for my GR500f.

Very happy Boxing day shopper here!

I thought I saw one retailer with Boxing Day discounts on Apple products (want another laptop). I can't seem to find it now, was I dreaming?

Don't have the weekend paper handy but I'm pretty sure I remember seeing Repco having a 25% (?) off sale.  Not noted on their website so would pay to check or get confirmation from another source.

Query about a JB deal....

http://www.jbhifi.co.nz/home-theatre/yamaha/5-1-channel-av-receiver-pack-sku-31007/

Is this digital surround so i can take advantage of my PS3's sound capabilities ? :)
Since it has 2x HDMI Im assuming it is digital but want to confirm....I know fudge all about sound systems etc these days, HDMI, optical, etc etc...Im lost ;)

Well, if JB would actually put model numbers then someone could look. Otherwise lets hope someone has been in and knows that bundle.

Those speakers aren't going to be up to much either. Better hope the reciever has an option for "really really small"
