Tokyo Vice.
7/10 so far for me (five episodes in on season 1). Some of the character stories are a bit boring but there's enough there to keep me wanting to watch another.

Very much looking forward to Marshalls - a spinoff from Yellowstone. Starting next week on Neon.
Finally watched the first episode of Marshalls last night. I was disappointed - not up to the expectations I have of a Taylor Sheridan show. Somewhat silly plot of Kayce Dutton leaving his ranch and joining the US Marshalls to run around with a submachine-gun solving crimes with glib-sounding colleagues. Enormous high-tech breakthroughs in the crime chase - all out in the wilds of Montana.
I'll keep watching for now but I've already been put off.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
I've recently finished the entire series of The Last Kingdom on Netflix.
I had temporarily given up on it as it got a bit tedious, but the last few episodes were very good and I am now watching the movie wrap up, Seven Kings Must Die.

freitasm:
Young Sherlock. What a disappointment. What a weak story. The last three episodes were a drag. 5/10.
So dire I re-watched Guy Ritchie's Sherlock films with Robert Downey.

i gave up halfway through the first episode. Still not sure on Guy Ritchie he has made some really good films and other films [Swept Away, Fountain of Youth] you wonder if someone will let him make another film it was so bad.
Common sense is not as common as you think.
Deadloch series 2 . If you loved the first season then the second one is just as good . 8/10

It’s not getting any better. Super disappointed. Kayce was always a background character in Yellowstone. As the lead in this he’s not great. Puppy dog eyes and lone cowboy vibe isn’t carrying the show. Plot - is there one?- is so forgettable I can’t remember any of it already. The other team member actors are no better and I’m not buying any of them. All 3 of the other agents feel like refugees from 3 other and very different shows. Nice to see the rez characters again but even they feel tacked on- like an excuse for a plot rather than integrated…
MAFS AU.
Good lord. These people are insufferable.

It's great isn't it? My favourite character is Joel's teddy bear.
It's a shame that they all have their walls up. They need to show up for each other, and hold Bec to account.
Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. Haven't watched an episode but watched the reviews on Youtube. Highly entertaining.

Watching Memory of a Killer. Interesting idea, the story develops well, although I think instead of ten it could be eight episodes. 7/10

Currently watching the latest series of Shrinking on Apple TV. It is excellent, funny and sobering as it hits close to home.
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

We’ve been bingeing Last One Laughing - UK. Very very funny IMO with some outrageous stuff.
The concept is that 10 comedians are locked in a room for 6 hours - shown as six 40-minute episodes hosted by Jimmy Carr. The objective is to make the others laugh — without laughing yourself.
If anyone laughs, smiles, or even smirks, they’re penalized and eventually eliminated. The last comedian standing wins.
Just watched the first two episodes of the 2026 edition (S2). Some well-known comedians - totally brilliant IMO.
