People who play music out the speaker on their mobile phone in public - doubly so if it is bad music.

Geektastic:afe66:The excessive Fontera ads on tv, in the paper about how great they are.
They are great. At filling the groundwater with nitrate run off...!

I just bought some "pre-cooked sausages" that also say "must be cooked thoroughly before eating". Make up your mind!

I just did. Thanks for the invitation - but we can't make it for dinner.

When your nephew asks you to play on his Playstation and you look like some sort of hopeless malcoordinated numpty while he looks like a person born with a controller in each hand...

How now oh toxic cow
crap again and take a bow
where will all the people fit
when you’ve filled our land with
sit awhile, contemplate
chew your cud and ruminate
chomp some grass and defecate
again and fill our land with
money flows like milk and honey
clean and green we are no more
just dollar rich and eco poor.

The cost of the Interislander.
Yup. They should build a bridge; there's one of similar length in Canada serving about 1/7th of the population, charging I think $50 per car. It must be possible to make the figures work...
A bridge over a very rough strait and a tectonic subduction zone would not be a great idea.
Only a question of money. Throw enough at it and a bridge could be built that would survive almost anything.
Those Chinese fellas built one 160km long. Perhaps we should give them a call? Don't tell Winston though.![]()

Or they are playing it through earbuds so loud everyone can hear the tinny racket... and you know your ACC levies will be paying for the idiot's hearing aids in a few years.

Sony.
For creating the idea that nobody can do anything, anywhere, unless they are listening to music...

Serendipitously I read this in the Daily Telegraph this morning!
"Such noise-related inconsiderateness abounds these days; just yesterday a man opposite me on the train began – inexplicably unperturbed – to ‘sodcast’ at full volume some Spanish football commentary. (‘Sodcasting’ is when people use their phone speakers rather earphones to play something. Remember this. It will come in handy.) It was unbearable."

Trying to see what's changed in the latest Visual Studio, but can't access the site because Microsoft has messed up the SSL certificate... and is using the headers to force HSTS so Firefox doesn't give the option to continue anyway.
[Correction: It's not Microsoft's fault; it's the firewall at work doing something dodgy.]
YouTube videos (or any videos for that matter) where the person making the video has their camera pointed at their own face most of the time.
(The others are now in the fridge but I'm sure that they won't look right once they resolidify!)
Businesses that provide services to you chippily informing you that they will do no such thing for 3 weeks over Christmas and then wondering why you, their client, tell them that isn't good enough.
