That I'll be able to watch every match of RWC2023 in 4K this time around. I'll be able to count individual nostril hairs on the players! Woot!

But if its Stan sport, the downside is having to listen to Australian commentators!

Yup, kind of like having a bandsaw operating in your ear.

I used Stan +Stan sport for about 6 months last year. The picture quality is awesome, even their 1080P sports content is miles ahead of SSN and Kayo as they use much more efficient compression combined with higher bit rate. Other than Rugby they just don't have enough Sport available to justify the cost.

A courier delivery from the US being dispatched on Friday morning and turning up on Monday afternoon. And DHL's tracking for actually tracking and showing me which street the van's currently on.

DHL is probably the best of the major courier services in terms of speed, tracking detail, etc. You can see that with Amazon orders, once it hits the DHL system it's pretty quick.

Only for Australian games. They’ll take the world rugby feed for most games.

Email from One NZ with the subject "we're moving you to a new broadband plan." Your first thought is "how much are they putting the price up?" Turns out it's a price decrease! We were on an old plan from the Vodafone TV days and the equivalent current one is slightly less so being moved to that.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Apple use DHL. On the Apple Store, for stuff coming from Sydney and if it's in stock there, when you order before 4pm our time, it will be delivered in Auckland the next morning (but maybe not on weekends). Have had that happen many times.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Strange, I just got their email today that they are raising their prices and mine has gone up by $10.

Yep, same.  Might go see if the real fibre prices are less than the new HFC price.  Could be the push I need to finally switch over.  :-)

There is a price rise to the plan we're moving to, but it still comes to slightly less than our current older plan.

I destroyed my phone Monday Morning, ordered a Samsung S23 ultra from Spark Monday afternoon circa 4pm and it arrives by courier this morning (Wednesday). That is impressive in my view. It certainly makes me smile.

Did it suffer a Freudian slip?

Yup, out of a 13th-floor window after he posted a Putin Khuylo meme with it.
