networkn: I can't imagine you trolling!
Seeing how quickly young people heal.
My son (the bionic one) had a checkup the day before yesterday, 2 weeks after having had a plate inserted in his shattered shoulder (multiple fractures/fragmentation of the collarbone).
He's now able to dispense with dressings, start some mild exercise and go without the sling when at home. He'll be driving in a couple of weeks and back to full fitness training shortly after that.
He'll apparently be fully fit and ready to go to a football tournament in late October!
If that were me, I'd still be broken at Christmas!

I would say that I can remember those days, but they are too long ago that my aging memory has lost those memories. Now I'm just painfully aware that recovery time is a lot longer and takes active care, requiring things like physio to help injuries come right in a useful time frame.
Definitely do not bounce like I used to.
I have always healed super quickly, and recently I hate a fight with a cheese grater which was on the knuckle. Didn't need a stitch but had to be splinted because any movement re-opened the wound. The time to heal for that has been really quick, though weirdly, I got a secondary infection near the wound which is taking some doing to get under control. I am pretty happy with how the original wound healed. Missing use of an index finger is quite inconvenient. You take for granted how much you use certain things.
My work Teams chat (for our specific team) and its ability to go completely off-kilter almost immediately following someone's fairly serious question (there's usually an answer buried in the humour somewhere).
It's also funny watching people try to join in on the fun, but without the necessary social skills to do so effectively - and they don't get hassled for it. Great team environment, I have to say.

Ordered a watch from the Apple NZ online store yesterday at 12:47pm.
Package left Sydney at 8:13pm last night, arrived in Auckland 4:22am this morning.
Package arrived here in Taranaki at 12:34pm, 24 hour delivery via DHL, from Sydney! Quicker than most items I get shipped within NZ.
Admittedly with a couple of guesses in there. (Afternoon quiz 29/08/2023.)
Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?
I got 11. Golf scores, right?

I had to smile at this contemporary guy, as he captured German situational awareness very well. š

A list of things not to do in Germany, but he left out the most important one.

Excellent! But I think we've been out of shame for a few decades and have worked through a lot. Russia has regressed, America (hopefully) not yet and all over the ROW political systems are retarding. Unfortunately, that's no longer funny for many people in the world.
By the way, I am a big fan of Monty Python!
