The expectation of two major electronics stores that I would spend nearly $230 on a mouse without actually holding it in my hand and seeing how it feels. No sample on display and when asked if I could open it, told "No, then we couldn't sell it as it wouldn't be new". Seriously? We're talking top of the range here, not some $20 throw away item. I don't care if the reviews are good or, as told in one shop "I've tried them, they're great". I want to put it in my own hand and see if it fits me! At that price, I want to know it's a glove, not a loose sock!

/Rant.

25% off too. Gutted.

The increasing data retrieval activitiy I wasn't asked before & the resulting need for even trickier countermeasures to aggraver it.

Back to couriers again. I appreciate that Christmas slows things down but a package of mine has been sitting in the same place for eight days now...

Why not buy it and in the unlikely event that it's not what you expect, take it back for a refund.

The fact that manufacturers effectively abandon perfectly good products as soon as they produce something new. Not everyone has the money or desire to upgrade expensive equipment every couple of years. Yet finding support for older combinations of perfectly good devices is almost impossible.

Getting woken up by fireworks at midnight last night in an otherwise quiet suburb - and then I discovered today there's some fire ban in place!

Someone down the street thought it'd be a good idea to run their party until ~3 am. So yeah, not much sleep last night...

The fire siren went off just after midnight here. Not sure if it was a fire or someone using it to announce the New Year!
