"You're call may be recorded for training purposes"

But they are though, used for training. Call Obs. (Call Observatons)

They may occasionally be used for that. It is surely not the primary purpose, because they would not need to record every conversation just for training. Representative examples would suffice...

If they dont say for training purposes, they cant use them for training purposes. NZ is one party only, so they dont even need to tell you for cover your ass protection.

Geektastic:

I have less of an issue where 'remastered' means "cleaning up the original analogue tape masters to sound cleaner".

What really annoys me is where it should say "remixed" rather than "remastered" because they've actually changed the tune to reflect some different interpretation.

If they make them again from a new stamper then it is remastered anyway so the term is meaningless.

When people ask for advice on a thread then they dont do what 99.9% of people suggested (which was the same thing) and go back to doing what they did prior which put them in the situation they are in.

I know a couple of those sorts.

We seem to have seen many more ants around than ever before this year.

People holding business meetings in cafes. Trying to read the paper and enjoy my eggs Benedict this morning but three dudes are having a meeting at the next table, one of them is droning on and on. The other two looked totally bored but dude #1 just keeps droning his drivel. If I can add another small thing that annoys me to this post, it's people who think they are full of insights but are actually not.

Eat your breakfast then have your business meeting somewhere else please. This ain't your meeting room.

Just last night and this morning we've discovered trails of ants in our kitchen. We have been in the house coming on 9 years and have never seen more than the occasional solitary ant in the past.

People entering small, confined spaces (such as lifts) with a backpack and turning around without care for other people sharing the space. Take that thing off your back before entering the lift!

That really hard clear plastic packaging. I cut myself so often with it. I was just sent a mobility aid packaged in the damn stuff.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Ooh yeah I hate blister packaging. Wasteful needless plastic packaging, that is very difficult and inconvenient to open. Just package it in a cardboard box. And with recycled paper packaging not polystyrene inside, which another pet hate.

God I'm a grumpy old prick today.
