Pet peeve. I don't know what it was, but when I moved to NZ it seemed people were better at indicating here than in Norway, but darn.. These days most cars I meet in traffic in NZ either don't indicate OR they indicate as they brake and turn, as if thats any help...

What do they break?

Anyway, in NZ, indicating is mostly seen as a challenge to those around you to try and block your intended manoeuvre. I advise that if you wish to move in one direction, indicate the opposite.

Every day I travel on a road that requires a right turn and there are usually 10 or more cars waiting to turn. Most of them only indicate that they want to turn right when they reach the head of the queue, whereas I indicate which way I want to turn as soon as I enter a queue to turn. I know that it's not strictly required that they indicate until 10 seconds or so before they actually turn, but it annoys me anyway. And cars that are in turn-only lanes that don't bother to indicate at all, probably thinking "I'm in a turn-only lane so I don't need to indicate, everyone around me should know that this is a turn-only lane and so obviously I'm going to turn"

A new carpark near my work has two conflicting signs; one standard blue "P" sign indicating public parking, and a sign saying that it's for customers of [business] only. It can't be both!

If it's on public land, advise the Council. Businesses cannot put up misleading signs restricting use of public parking to their customers.

Clicking on the Windows calculator, then clicking on its icon on the task bar for it to actually appear in front of stuff, then clicking on the calculator so that numbers will actually appear when you type them.

Trying to reverse out of those diagonal parking spaces when you're parked next to a double cab / truck / tank and you can't see squat till half your cars sticking out and you still get some a-hole who won't stop because its too much effort to press a brake so they carry on but cross over to the opposite side of the road while honking incessantly at your selfishness.

I'm actually not sure who owns it; the site has been vacant for as long as I can remember. The carpark opened a few weeks ago with the "P" sign alongside, and the "customers only" was only in the past day or two.

As it happens, I'm a regular customer of the business in question so I might ask who owns it next time I'm in there.
