ToPGuNZ:

Finding a very supportive and non-judgemental gym means more smiles recently. After many years of non-activity then back surgery it has been great to get along and exercise in a great environment. Staff and members are full of encouragement and this means results are achieved.  Having chats with other members has also helped my mental health.

Always good to find "your people". :-)

I joined a run club last year and have found a number of people who "get it" when it comes to Ultra Running.  Found my crazy.  :-)

Shane Cameron fitness, Onewa Rd, Auckland.

It is way more than a boxing gym. Great functional fitness or boxfit classes, loads of equipment and they do weight loss/fitness challenges where they have up to 30 odd people helping each other reach their goals.

Flights are booked for our visit to NZ in March.

I feel poor but happy days.

Mrs. and I just decided to upgrade to Prem Economy for our upcoming trip in June.  The extra $2k hurts for now but it'll be pretty much forgotten by the time June rolls around so happy days indeed.

Bonus smile came when there was no wait time calling the AirNZ contact centre (booking couldn't be changed online), looks like 5.30am is a good time to get hold of them. Also quite impressed with their automated identification and authentication steps, still a couple of mundane verification questions and scripted steps from Shane the agent (who was excellent) but a pretty good experience all round.

We booked premium economy back to NZ as we are going to a wedding the day after we land and flying east.

Going back to Dubai we are flying eco. I’m a bit tight to pay for it both ways, especially as Mrs Handle and the kids have 5 days off before they need to go to school after they land here.

I've been "required" to do that a few times over the years. Oh no. Woe is me.

Hmm... just trying to catalogue mine and I think I only have four. I thought it was more than that.

  • GW-7900B in black
  • MTG-900DA in silver
  • PRW-2500T in silver (technically this one's a Pro Trek)
  • ??? in blue (can't find it)

Lemon and TeAroha. It's what L&P should be. It's magic (though pretty pricey). Found it at a show in Whangamata over Xmas, and is now my special treat drink (I don't usually drink fizzies), replacing Bundaberg Ginger Beer.

I dread going to my Barber (who is excellent) bevause there is always a massive queue. Today I turned up and walked right into the chair. Managed to take my son and got us both sorted in 20 minutes! There is 2 hours of my day I got back unexpectedly!

Hence why I book, usually two weeks in advance.

I'd not only gladly book, but I'd pay extra to do so, though despite my best efforts they won't take a booking.  I've tried even suggesting doing a late night thursday with a 25% surcharge that is bookings only.

I've tried other barbers, but the number of people who say they can do a flat-top vs do one, is very very very low.
