Galaxy Apps (Samsung's app store) purchases for the gear S3 smart watches are country specific so you have to purchase the app again when you're in another country if you want to update it.

Ads that last longer than the content they are preventing you from watching.

Not to mention the TV1 news hour... watch it from MySky and FF the ads, and magically it's about 30 minutes of content.

Inevitably someone will always find something offensive. Obviously my comment is not directed at genuine victims of Huntington's Disease.

The point could easily have been made without reference to any disease sufferers methinks. Anyways, moving on.

Oh... you were actually serious?

Yeah, I wasn't outraged by any means, just thought using that as a comparison wasn't required to get the point across.

I didn't see it as offensive because of the way it was used, but I did take your observation to heart and I changed it. You are right. It wasn't necessary. It was just the first thing that came into my mind.

Let it go, people.

The stupidity in ads is so people look when the sound is off, as the only time people really see ads now is on a TV on in a public place which normally is muted.

Or the stupidity of video adds in Spotify, which is normally used in a ‘radio’ fashion and so far NONE of the half hourly ads I’ve heard used an audio that references the company or product advertised!

Stupidity of wasted advertising?

Content/Media platforms that insist on ignoring my preference for Chronological feeds to show me summaries or content they think I might want prioritised...looking at you Twitter.

I have departed from Facebook so this doesn't get me quite as much any more, but if I set a feed to Chronological, I want to see my content Chronologically and not have random crap inserted out of order or rolled up. By all means highlight or mark stuff you may think I need to see from my circle, but don't mess with the bloody order.

For FB, I found a plugin for Firefox that removes all inserted news feeds. My wife was getting really annoyed at the news insertions through out the feeds, especially during the last US election.

She now happy,

Shrinkflation. Again. Seriously. Went to get a few bits at New World this morning, and they've bought some new carrying baskets, and even those bloody things are smaller. Arrrrrgh.

I noticed that too. I wasn't sure whether they were actually smaller or just looked that way due to being more "rounded" but I suspect that you're right.
