Handsomedan:

Same subject, different issue - watching a movie/TV show, where the main character asks Siri a question.
My HomePods, Wife's iPad and one of the kids' girlfriend's iPhones all replied in one way or another. Of course my Apple watch also tapped me on the wrist to give me some info.

Spooky but quite amusing

Just wait until the Totalitarian New World Order takes over. It won't seem so amusing then.

Was it all the SAME information? :)

I've had us ask the devices in our house the same question all the same brand, and it give different answers.

aaristotle: and makes my Google speaker make elephant noises each time the promo plays.

This would be a marvelous opportunity for a Spike Milligan fan with enough money to buy the advertising time to turn the Phantom Raspberry Blower into reality:

It wasn't me, it was Alexa, honest!

It's amazing how someone can post something now which, only ten years ago, would have seen them hauled away to the funny farm.

IAG emailed me saying I'm due a $163 refund (not a scam) for an insurance policy I had with a bank from ages ago. I know a few others that also have got similar amounts.

Sounds like they didn't calculate things very well. Which does annoy you a little, as you wonder how often you have been over charged and didn't know.

So I just ordered a Raspberry Pi 5 plus all the extra bits from PB tech :-)

Same answers, differently phrased.

As the world is currently in a state of decay, I have ordered an electric rice cooker for the first time as a precaution - with fuzzy logic. Possibly the only remaining intelligence that won't monitor or track me. 😁

I sprinkle ashes on my head for my power consumption, shower less once a week and plant a carelessly lying acorn in the meadow of the city park. 😉

The irony of the PM's plane breaking down as they were about to take off to a leaders conference in AU - it made me smile, because he's long bemoaned the "Private Jet" aspect of the airforce plane and it's age, whilst being very publicly pro-commercial flights. THen he got on it anyway and didn't get anywhere - then had to take a commercial flight.

And I think the poor media got left on the plane. Bugger.

Contact Energy recently emailed me to let me know they had overcharged me $0.01 at some point several years ago.

Oh, we have extensive experience in this. Our former defence minister also stayed at home several times on a government or military plane. (But now I wonder in hindsight if that wasn't a pretext for cancelling an inconvenient trip? Never mind).

Work screens on at 9pm, weird. And at 10pm. My MacBook is also weird. Then I see the new kitten having a nap on my lid up MacBook, solved.

Cats dont have a Three Strikes Law in place at the moment so I will overlook the indiscretions.

For now :-)

Tabiche. Fancy. Adopted from SPCA, but my wife's elderly Mum lives with us and she saw him as Mimi as memory not the greatest, (our last cat that passed) so I did a Deed Poll on the microchip site to Mimi!

So, all good, but I had to sign a Timid Waiver!! He is timid. Took off and hid under the TV cabinet. Popped out for food and back he goes. 3 days later Im worried. But he did start to venture out slowly but surely. This was maybe 6 weeks ago. Now we call him Mimi or Mr Naughty due to his antics and damage caused. While timid may not be ideal, its a high level of affection in there, which is what we have now

Pretty awesome to say the least
