Making a Murderer on Netflix, a ten part series. A real-crime drama, filmed over ten years, set in Wisconsin. It starts with the homecoming of Steven Avery, who has recently been released from prison, having been wrongfully imprisoned for eighteen years  for a rape he did not commit. He is about to receive a large amount of compensation when he is arrested for the murder of a young woman. The series documents the investigations and the subsequent court appearances. Without going into further detail, the series engenders feelings of disbelief, suspense, anger and sympathy, while the whole Wisconsin justice system is questioned. I found the series to be riveting and scored it 9/10.

Yeah, that was a gripping series. Apparently they're working on a sequel too.

And the Defence Attorneys are coming for a talk in Auckland in November.

Fringe, House of Cards and Parks and Rec are all great.

Scorpion is the biggest pile of garbage in the history of television. CSI is a scientifically accurate documentary in comparison with Scorpion. It is a show based on one guys rubbish and thoroughly disproven stories he someone managed to convince people were true.

But you might like it.

Been watching Silicon Valley. Funny but not hilarious as I thought it would be. Watching You're the Wost on Hulu, and I think it's ok but not great.

Watched Season 1 of unReal and it's really good - imagine a reality TV show behind a reality TV show. Produced by people who worked on The Bachelor USA. I think it's available on Lightbox.

Watched a few episodes of The Catch on Hulu again, but can't see myself following it - too silly.

Just finished watching Occupied on netflix nz. A Norwegian drama set in the near future about Russia trying to control petroleum output from a green Norway who wishes to reduces petroleum out put to focus on greener options. Apparently Russia were non too impressed when this was released. A very enjoyable watch.

Im also watching another Scandinavian drama, which has been mention on this thread, The Bridge. Also well worth considering if you don't mind subtitles.

Season 1 of True Detective (Blu ray/Fatso).  Loved it, one of the best TV shows I've seen.

Ambassadors - Robert Webb/David Mitchell in a comedy-drama. Aired in UK in 2013 and I found it on Sky On Demand. Only made 3 one hour episodes - shame, as it was rather good.

Totally agree. Season 2 is different, not quite as good but it grew on me.

The Bridge on Lightbox. Now up to season 3 and the show hasn't failed me yet. Crime, thriller, some comic relief in there, plenty of suspense.

It's set in Demnark & Sweden and so has English subtitles, whcih i didn't think I would like. It's grown on me to be honest - plus no I feel like I'm learning to speak another language or something.

Do you mean Season 2? I loved the first season but I ran out of puff after 2-3 episodes in the second season - but YMMV ...

Season three now for GoT I think. I remember season two doing exactly the same thing. I'm pretty sure I commented on here some place about it.

I think Halt and Catch is also on Season three. I really like that show.

I'm missing zombies though - come on back, Walking Dead!

There's always Fear The Walking Dead . . . but that has proven to be a bit garbage!
